1. Preparation / Washing

• Preparation is KEY. Wash and thoroughly clean the area you will be applying to.
• Dry the application area and degrease thoroughly with Xpro degreaser.
• Make sure the area is dry before application.

2. Application

• Shake the bottle.
• We recommend that you apply the product with a folded paper towel or Xpro applicator , as these applicators allow for the best application of Xpro car polish.
• Make sure to thoroughly soak in lacquer.
• We recommend keeping the bottle handy - if your applicator cloth starts to dry during application, apply more as you process.
• Start at the top corner of the panel.
• Hold the cloth | applicator with a flat hand. Using very light pressure, slide from end to end across the panel. Evenly apply the product to the panel.
• You will have a 1-2 minute window to work with. Do not go back after this time period. Avoid repetition!!!

*** Please note that if there is a significant mistake made in the application of your coating and you need to remove it - removing the coating is much easier within 5 minutes of the initial application. If you need to remove the coating in that 5 minute window, we recommend scrubbing the coating with our degreaser. You can then reapply the Xpro automotive lacquer. If you need to remove the coating after it has started to cure, we recommend sanding the area with p2000 water based sandpaper.
